@Dilciajw shares some principles she learnt as a youth!
"PRINCIPLES ARE QUITE ESSENTIAL & HELP TO SHAPE YOUR VISION AS A HUMAN BEING…SOME ARE INSTILLED IN US AS YOUTHS, OTHERS ARE ACQUIRED THROUGH OUR LIFE’S JOURNEY!”
How important are principles to you?
Principles are quite essential; whether it’s loyalty, persistence, honesty, and/or integrity etc.
I’ve encountered many who believe principles and beliefs go hand in hand. I beg to differ, we don’t have to share the same beliefs to value the same core principles in life.
Have Principles died?
I do not think principles have died, whether someone voices them or not there’s always at least one principle that sticks in this life. Over time our views, thoughts, opinions, and desires change. Which can alter the importance or value of some, it’s the way of life!
If you could only choose one principle to live by what would it be?
Integrity - My grandpa always said “You walk straight, you have your name straight!” (Panamanian Accent lol). Growing up, you couldn’t explain this enough for me to understand. I just never understood it! As I’ve gotten older the saying became clearer and clearer. Loving yourself is expressed through the way you carry yourself, the way you see yourself, the way you speak of yourself, the way you treat yourself (and others) and who you are.
